Title: Ice Fishing for Arctic Grayling
Post by: FishingJunky18 on Dec 07, 2021, 09:09 PM
Story of my life, nothing ever works out the way I plan them. Luckily I always plan for the worst  case scenario! I wanted to try and get on some lake trout through some ice, but the place we hiked into didn’t have enough safe access to the get on the ice. Needless to say we hiked back down, and went somewhere else, unfortunately for a much smaller fish. However, I’ve never caught a Arctic Greyling until now, so it was well worth the trip and sticking to plan B lol.

I really have to say though, I’ve always thought of grayling as a mysterious, or kind of elusive fish, maybe because there are few places to have the opportunity to catch them here in Colorado. I was super surprised, they actually turned out to be a very aggressive, and oddly tough fighting little fish!! Here is the video link, hope you check it out and enjoy!!
