I have been fishing the lakes around my house a lot this year and have caught quite a few crappie each time i have went out and they seem to be mid way in the water column. Catch them on a little yellow tear drop tipped with grubs. Also caught them anywhere from 10 fow to 38 fow

I been hearing yellow out here too, not just on iceshanty, I am definitely going to switch from my usual glow white tape chrome pattern. I have to try different colors no doubt. I also am fortunite to know how to use my showdown and will not waste any time looking for them. We like jigging but, with the A mobile ,this time we cover ice it is going to be a great week ahead if the weather cooperates.
