Do most people change up their presentation when fishing crappie at night? And what are the most common changes?

When fishing at night for Crappies, how many use a light or lantern?

I use a head lamp. Did really good with a green glow demon jig the other night.

Crappie become shallow feeders at night. Daytime fishing should be on a steep breakline adjacent to a flat. They will move into as much as 3 feet of water at night time. Use tip ups to locate, then drop a jig. As for colors, well you and many others are hooked :woot: 90% of the lures are designed to catch the fisherman, not the fish. You should look to vibration and flutter versus colors. Have you ever dove and taken a look at what you see? I know of no fish that use high powered lights to feed ;) Try PK Lures as they have plenty of vibration and simulate wounded baitfish, and more importantly, something many fish have not yet seen.
