Wow, what a beautiful brown! Can I assume that there is a good chance that picture was taken on Lake Wallenpaupack… or is that considered proprietary information?

Wherever it is… sure is good to see the ice holding up.  ;)

the ice ranged from4-7 inches and lost about a half inch thruout the day..im sure it will take a beaten today and tomorrow and friday......be patient the cold is comin next week

Thanks Sully... you have no idea how much one picture can boost the morale around here in SEPA where our ice is under serious attack right now.

I did take a peek at the extended forecast... and am saving my "half-days" for a few afternoon/evening trips in an attempt to locate some crappies.

I am glad to see I am not the only one that catches and releases. And that is a beautiful fish.
Why wait to spring time to fish when u have perfectly good ice to fish on.
