Why is it?
« on: Feb 16, 2015, 08:34 PM »
Why is that we love to fish and hunt in this cold weather, but we hate to work in it? lol If work told me to go outside Id leave. My truck has all my icefishing gear in it. Id leave work and head to the lake.
Love many, trust few and always row your own canoe.

We are a strange breed.  We were out yesterday in -7 degree with 20-25mph winds.  I can only imagine what the people driving by the lake are thinking...

We are a strange breed.  We were out yesterday in -7 degree with 20-25mph winds.  I can only imagine what the people driving by the lake are thinking...

They're thinking "so that's what rich people do on their day off"  while your picking up your black appendages off the ice screaming at your buddy "I wonder what the poor people are doing today"

City mouse, country mouse.  Some people can do drugs and some people shouldn't do drugs.

God I'm tired.
My private lakes: Laurel, Gruber, Emerald complex (Mountaintop, E Emerald, W Emerald, Pine Tree, Deer, Lower Deer, Halfmoon, Hunter, Little Mountaintop), Leisure Lk, Leisure Pd, Monroe, Tego, Little Tego, Upper Spring, Pocono Summit, Blue Mountain.  I want Naomi, Paupacken, and Hallowood and I'll chase the dream called Pocono Lake

Tell me about it, I freeze in weather like this when I'm hunting and lose interest, but when I'm fishing I can't stop and it doesn't bother me as much.
