What type of strategy/structure you all gonna hit up for this early ice season?

My strategy this year is to get away from the crowds a bit. Do more fishing during the week when there is not much going on. Im finding that when I fish an area during the week and there is not much noise from fisherman or snowmobiles I seem to get more action. Also I want to get more patients waiting out those big ones with dead bait. Also hit the shallows real hard 2' of water early ice. Just waiting for some ice!

It all depends on what part of the state you fish and how big of lake.

this year, I want to work harder with deadbait, and may try floro for leaders, but i must say ,I hear a lot of guys using 40-60lb. floro, and I was @ Gander today, and in all their brands, they only went to 20, which to tell the truith, if floro works , i would think 20 to be enough, and can't find malin boa, which seems to be the new rage, ( something I generally do not subscribe to, you know the flavor of the monthstuff)

Gonna try the shallow waters with dead bait on heavy fluorocarbon line.. Then drink some beer and play the waiting game... Seems to be a good strategy (until i get on the ice and nothing happens...)

I'll fish 2-12ft early. Fishing in small bays where big pike have quick access to the main basin(deep water). Pretty much don't change much fishing early. Don't have to worry about crowds most places up here which is nice. If we can ever get ice up here I'll have some pics posted.
