quickstrike rigs with fluoro??
« on: Jan 16, 2010, 11:42 PM »
Does anyone make a quickstrike style rig out of fluoro??? I am thinking of tying it like a summer walleye spinner but with trebels instead of octopus hooks just tie the first one about 4" above the 2nd and you wouldnt have adjustability but could put a minnow on each hook with the smaller minnows or both hooks in a bigger minnow or smelt... anybody tried this or any other ideas???

I don't.  One single treble should do the trick.  If you miss the pike, it was not big enough it was not worth catching.

We make all of our quick strike rigs out of 40# fluro and it works great.
