Post by: Soulfly on Feb 10, 2011, 10:52 AM
Wow! thanks so much for the great advice on pike hunting. We nailed these two last weekend on our first try ever
Mom was so proud  ;D We landed them on tip ups and dead suckers. 13"-14' of water.

Are they good to eat? Thougt about relaesing them for some else to enjoy, but we kept both of them.

There very good eating. Great chowder fish, nice flakey, white meat.

Youtube the video "fileting a pike", will help with the y bones.

Congrats on the first, hopefully first of many.
