Some sort of rescue going on at the lake right now, off Bibik Road.  Fire Trucks, ambulances, and helicopter.  Hope everyone's ok.  Lets remember to be safe out there, this weather might be nice, but its not safe.

Typical hotspots include around the island, the sunken island, hyder creek, and the north and south ends.

Park at Bakers beach on 28s, walk straight out 100yds.  that'll be the west edge of it.  another 100yds or so, and you'll find the east edge.

If you look at the lake on google earth, you can actually see the sunken island.
I thank God for everything in my life. But I especially thank God for ice.

It's not that fishing is so important, it's just that so many things in life are so much less important

Nope, water temp is 43* and choppy waves.  50s this week won't help anything.  check out our Lake Association weather station, under Real Time Weather for air temp, lake temp, lake level, etc.  www.canadaragolake.com

defenately not but if it doesn't stay warm to long then the lake temps shouldn't rise much I would think

Saw 63 degrees on Otsego today and a number of boats out there. I was a beautiful day to pour concrete on the side of the lake as fishermen were trolling past........... :( :( :(
