Ice conditions
« on: Feb 12, 2020, 07:29 AM »
Hi all. I am just looking for a little insight on eddys pond in oxford, piere point Dudley and Webster lake. I know I will have to check the ice on my own to verify ice conditions. Just seeing if anyone has been to any of these spot recently. Should I head west? Thanks all.

Pierpont had firemen and police with spotlights the other day.   Coworker lives on it and said its not safe

Westboro area is unsafe
A1 has 20+ feet of open water at the ramp and the whole pond beyond the island opened up again the other day.  Ice is gray and looks like it could open up completely at any moment.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I drove by Eddies pond yesterday. It was starting to open up. This season has been one of the worst seasons here in Central Ma. It is going to be 0 degrees tonight buck back into the 40s come Monday.

I drove by Eddy Pond in Auburn today and although there was nobody on it, I’d say it would be worth checking. Yes there are open spots in the swamp but the fishable part looked like it held up.
