Finishing on a good note
« on: Mar 23, 2023, 06:47 PM »
I know it is only some largemouth, but that is what works for me.

Had a good afternoon today.

Might get some time in tomorrow morning too.

George

Nice largemouth ..I love targeting bass in the winter ..thanks for pic
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

You are a happy man with a darn nice fish... Thats my goal of winter fishing... The day out on the ice is almost a 100% stress free day. Gotta love it!

I too target bass this time of the season and they have been biting very well... Only small mouth in our lake!

When I was a child, the first real fish I remember catching was a bass. It was on a 2 week Boundary Waters Canoe trip, I wish I could remember if it was a smallmouth or a largemouth. Anyway, the trip leader cut it up and cooked it and I remember it being the most delicious thing I ever ate. These days I don't eat bass, but I don't really know why? Think I'm gonna need to keep the next one I catch.

Very nice fish!  Thanks for posting.  Looking forward to getting a few like those once I get my boat ready and on the water.
