First day out on Winni

Had a decent morning  jigging on the Big Lake...Two Yellows, four Whites (One very nice one) and a surprise Laker when my friend was reeling in.

I fished Mon & Tues on Winni, tried for lakers but no luck, so I went after shallow water (actually shallower) and had fun.
Was able to jig up some bass (smallies and largemouth) some pickerel, perch and sunfish.

Bass were in the 3 lb. range, pickerel were 20"+, perch were decent and sunfish were what they were. I did get a 9" sunfish that fought like a white perch/

With the amount of ice they have, I will be planning on heading up again next week!

Oh, and that's one nice white you got there!
