Better odds

Was thinking of heading up to either Rifle gap or Harvey looking for perch??  wondering what everybody's thoughts were on which would be the best odds for getting some.

Your choice. 10 miles apart and perch 10” difference on perch. Do you want to try for a couple hog perch like up to 14” or a bunch at 4”? Kind of the difference now.

Sorry to be a smart-ass but that’s the perch truth now. That being said I’ll be fishing Harvey in 12 days for the weekend to catch a 4” perch to put on a tip-up for a 20# pike.

Ya I see what your saying....think well give the gap a shot...you don't by have any idea on the ice conditions

Ice should be good, 6 inch a week ago and have been cold up there,
