LOL... You realize that Purefishing.com buys those president reels cheap to flip for profit as well right?

I realize Pflueger/Purefishing make the reels and sell them for a profit just like any manufacturer/business.  Just a bummer when you have giant sale and someone might have bought the remaining stock just to make a profit off of and take away others opportunity.  Similar to the guys buying $1,500 garmin units from cabelas and attempting to reselling them for $2,000 right now. 
In the end they have every right to do it, only a bummer, not like I'm pissed at it. Lol

I was at 3 for 50%, all salt water gear... When I seen the code still worked yesterday I grabbed 20 Pflueger presidents to flip on fleabay in the spring, should make enough to pay for the salt gear and fill the boat once lol.

The purefishing codes are intended for brand ambassadors / employees to use.  They probably started noticing people buying... say... 20 reels at once  (and a much increased usage of those codes overall) and will keep shutting them down.

I get similar deals on bike stuff due to being in the industry, but if they catch me buying to resell right away I'd get in some trouble.

Getting a rod in the mail is always a risk. Hell, I had FedEx break a rifle stock one time... that was fun.
