Got out on the lake around 9:00am ,caught this pike at 10:30.
31" and very fat it's been eating well.
Beautiful day alittle windy and 9" of ice.

All I could think at work today was what a day to be on the ice. Lucky dog. Nice fish, what do you use for leader? :)

I had someone turn me on to spider wire a few years ago. I love it. I leave 1 set rigged with it.

I gave up using steel two years ago,haven't lost one yet from braking the Power Pro.
20lb. Power Pro is the dia. of 6lb. mono and stays nice and straight.
I know I have a hard time cutting it.
