ice season started

wnet out this weekend.  nice weather, 4-5 inch ice (stay water), caught a lot of perch (jigging) but nothing big.  hope can go onto some better spot during holidays.

Yup! started this week end as well, we've got 8 inches on champlain lake... Caught nothing though...

Went out on 4-6'' ice. Caught about 20 bluegill and 2 crappie.

I hope it will freeze more this week to be able to access my walleye spot.

Here it opened yesterday...but too mutch windows banner to do before Christmas.. i'll be on ice, maybe between Christmas and holyday! I hope!

will try to target crappies.  seems they have not schooled up yet.

I didn't had the luck to locate a good school of crappie or bluegill. There is still a lot of green vegetation under the ice. These days's, fish seem to hide in the thick stuff ...

I think that fishing will be better when ice will be thicker.

i think so, crappies usually will suspend in the middle winter.  that will be easy to mark them on the flasher.
