What is a good set-up for dead sticking Greenbacks on lake Winnipeg?

Are you looking to buy one? Several makers have excellent deadsticks. I have a JT snare, but haven’t used it yet so not fair to comment.

Thanks or the reply, I’m looking more for the below the ice set-up. Using jigs or just plain hooks

Jig and a salted minnow is what I use most of the time. Walleye, sauger and burbot will all bite that on LW. Good luck.

I’ve never noticed too much difference in colours. Green, pink, white all seem to get the job done. 1/4 oz is fine.
