Anyone doing any good? With the little one haven't been able to get out. Want to see how this season is going.

I am wanting to get up to Merritt to give it a try. Does anyone know when the water temp at Merritt usually STARTS TO drop below 60 deg. ?

Stayed up there Saturday-Tuesday morning, just for some relaxing. Did a bit of bank fishing, but the lake being 11' low doesn't lend the bank fishmen much help.

Crappie bite has been decent in far SE Nebraska. Too bad it's on a lake I can't ice fish. >:(

Crappie and perch are on fire in that area , been whacking lots the last few weeks seems as thought the colder the water is getting the better the bites been .
Small jigs 1/32 1/16 with small tails been working well ,,, good luck

I almost always be use a 1/32oz jig I tie, but lately I've been using a Bitsy Pond Minnow, and had a ton of hits, but lost several nice fish. I put bigger hooks on it tonight, hoping for better hookup ratio.
