Jigging techniques for Rainbows

Going to try and target Rainbows jigging this year can anyone give me some Techniques on lures,Bait.

I have had good luck using the Salmo Chubby Darters on slimers. Not sure why, but the first time using them a few years ago I couldn't keep the bows off of them. Of course these were stockers so not really sure how hold-overs/natural will react to them, but they definitely liked them. They would come in suspended and nail the things on multiple drops/lifts. Not sure where or the type of bows your targeting, may matter, but the chubbies or Lindy's may work for you.
