Leaser Lake
« on: Feb 04, 2019, 08:55 PM »
My primary target species is Muskies and during ice out i can find them. But I have never pulled one through the ice. I fished leaser once last year and once this year. I cant seem to find them but ever one else can. Can someone point me in the right direction.

havnt fished lesser since they started stocking them but some jersey lakes we do well with large baits 6-12" suckers and suspend them down 10-15ft over deep water. points, weed lines are also good at funneling the fish that are traveling up and down the lake

I caught about a dozen really nice muskie out of leaser last year, and two my only trip out this year. get the largest shiners or creek chubs you can find and put them about 2' off the bottom. Doesn't seem to matter where at on the lake as I have caught them from one end to the other now, usually in at least 20' of water. hope this helps.
