not much going on the boards here today !
 hopefully everyone is fishing and not dead !!
but we all are probably working huh??
well ill be out fishing on Saturday evening or sunday!
 50 deg on sat or sun they say no shanty needed!!!!!!!!!!
 hopefully the bigger fish will get more active as the water warms up!!
 and GUESS WHAT  FOR YOU GUYS THAT HATE HEARING THIS FROM ME!! ;D IF WE GET 50 DEG WEATHER  WELL LOSE MORE ICE !!!! ;D :o :'(

I am not fishing...just doing some chores....any way.....you goona fish in shallower water?...last week I fished 4 feet of water and did just as good in 8....nothing happening in 12 or more....how about you?

almost exactly the same  about 4 to 6ft was where all the action was even for pike !!!
 sorry to hear that you cant get out this weekend!!!
 ill catch a few for you!!!! ;D
 MORE THAN LIKELY ILL BE FISHING THE SAME 4 TO 6 OR 7 FT

I know fishing can get better in late ice but just how is the water going to warm up if it's covered with ice?  ::) The warmest it can get with ice cover is 39 F. (maximum density of water) and that is only found on the bottom.
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.
