tiger muskies
« on: Jan 21, 2009, 02:21 PM »
Making a trip to a tiger musky lake in a few weeks.  The lake does not get stocked with very many, so we will be using tipups for them and jigging for other species. Just wondering if I should target them like pike or if there are other areas they prefer.

Look for structure. Rocky points, drop offs, inside bends on drop offs(elbows). They seemed to be more like a musky than a pikes habits. I am no pro at them but have caught some when I fish for them.

When's the last time you set up for anything other that Pike or Muskies?
