ADDICTION

When you're loading up your new car-topper boat, being eaten by black flies, almost dumping the thing on your head....and you call a fishing buddy to say "ice fishing is so much easier....how long till December?

you know your addicted when your at the local river fly fishing with size 22 midges, talking to your fishing buddy saying; "u fix ur tip ups and are u planning to buy that fenwick elite tech ice rod, i heard they are good?" all of a sudden the entire river goes quiet, and u get the thousand mile glare from the rest of the fly fisherman while ur buddy just sighs.

I drove over to Maine to visit Joe dirt and Ninjaboss and before I left, I found my bait puck and Hemostats that I left in their shack in March. After I gave him Grief for 2 days, Joe had brackets installed and his New auger hanging up on the wall, mission accomplished !!

What did he use for brackets?

I was thinking about hanging my auger up IN the shack. Beats leaving it out on the ice or in the truck...maybe it will start easier when its warm?

He used the red rubber coated screw in brackets that you use to hang bikes from garage ceiling joists. He screwed them into his Garage wall studs instead. The 16" on center layout of the wall studs lines up the hooks with the openings of the auger handles perfectly !

And taking it in and out from warm to cold is a great way to get condensation of moisture in everything....
