Title: my view on Monday

I was able to get on ice all day on Monday.  Living in the "tropical" southern 1/3 of the state, I knew that Monday might be the last day for any local ice this year so I really wanted to take it all in.
A buddy and I were the only guys on the ice, to our surprise there wasn't anybody else there!  I took a minute to take this pic of the rising sun....beautiful!

And then the crowds showed up around mid day. Let's just say I was a little crowded and didn't enjoy the evening moon!!  ;D

(its gotta be cold, how do you not know or why do you not care??)

We had a good day and combined caught easily over 100 gills.

Nice morning sunrise.  Glad you guys got out.  Tuesday was still fishable down in the tropics, if you could navigate, slip and slide on the surface water. Quite a yo-yo on the weather lately...just enough to tease us.

3.5 +/-, crystal clear, I'm sure its rotten by now though.

Toast here! some areas took 3 whacks and others 1. Not going swimming for any fish.

LOL!  tell me about it!   The way he was setting the hook on them little gills would have made Bill Dance proud!!  (I'm just glad he didn't mess himself doing it)
