Last weeks, last ice trip on Caz. Hitting the streams for browns now.

Yes please share recipe and do you filet out the Y bones or does the pickling process break them down?

This is a first for me along with keeping a burbot and cooking that. Just followed a Youtube video. Fillet, left y-bones, salt brine for 6 days. And just pickled ( 8 cups white vinegar, 7 cups sugar, pickling spices, boiled ) with onions and peppers. Needs to cure for at least 5 days. Hope it turns out half as good as the burbot was.  :unsure: :unsure:
