I was thinking (after reading the battery dead issue)...I never go anywhere without a jump pack...ever.  I use it as an inverter also for dead cell phones, LED lights, whatever.  Here is my question:

There are chargers that work by plugging them into the cigarette lighter.  I have one of those aux. deals on the side of my speedo / headlight housing.  Would this work like a car??  If my battery would happen to die, could I boost it through that port?  I'm sure it is fuse protected so I'm not to worried about damaging anything other than the fuse.  Anyone have any experience with this?
