getting unstuck

I have a snowmobile because I hate driving out on the ice with my truck. The ideas about the drilling a hole then using something as an anchor I've thought of, but haven't tried. It shouldn't take too much to get a truck unstuck, possibly even some ice screws could work.

Tire chains! Pieces of 2x6! I had a chain in my truck and wrapped it around the wheel when I got stuck. Usually if you're stuck, its because one tire starts spinning on the ice. Otherwise do your best to jam pieces of wood under the wheels.
A Come-a-long with some extra cable will help in emergencies. Drill a hole in the ice and drop down a straight bar or even a thick piece of wood
