Skilak lake

Anybody have any recent ice reports from Skilak they could share? Most interested in the outlet. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the outlet of Skilak and Kenai Lake both stay open all year.  As in you can fly fish there right now, not ice fish.  But I could be wrong.

The outlets have always been open when I’ve been there, usually fish back 50-100 yds from the open water. Should still be open to ice fishing, I have fished it several times over the years, with numerous other people coming and going. The ice can disappear pretty fast in warmer days with some wind behind it. I was concerned with the weather we had last week, with the higher temps.
