Jigging for Lakers

I desperately need to change my jigging setup . I was wondering what everyone here would recommed for a lake trout jigging rod setup ? Rod, reel, lind, lure, etc
 
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

What part of the country do you fish? How deep?  What size are the fish typically?  More info will make recommendations more pertinent.
