well, now that you "outed" my Youtube Channel, its hard to deny that, that is one of the fish I caught, I wanted to use that clip to compose a video from the whole trip, with a few fish caught, and some photos, I may have to change my videos from PUBLIC to Private. $:-\$

nice pk lure ya put in there, we all know that they get hooked in the side or upper lip tho, well unless it was swimmin upside down

i wonder how many years a laker has to live before it can spawn?

I believe it's 7-10 years before they can spawn but I'm sure somebody out there must have the exact number.

Those laker pics that Ise has I know I recognize that lake.

Dude, work with me, Jeeze

I had to take the PK out when it was caught so I could first take the measurement pic on the ice, and he didnt flop all around getting himself tangled in the line again, then I took the 2nd pic, then I gently placed the PK back in its mouth for the 3rd "required" close-up pic of the PK lure in his Jaw. Are you doubting me?

Very nice vid. The fish action was better than what we had that weekend. To bad about your rod though. I have one of those rod holders and it broke where they joined the wire together. Good thing you brought the extra rod. I'm hoping to get into them this weekend.

I think you need to go back and try to catch it- could be a long lost relative of ol dirty bertha, and knowing em shes chewin on yer rod like a dog a bone rite now and lafin at you!

Awesome vid! That lil laker you got there looked to be about 10" range- gotta be the smallest laker ive ever seen!!

hey paul. I really enjoyed the video. Now you get to sit back and see all the idiots that email you telling you what a moron you are for holding a fish this way and that way, and releasing.. They are all mental. Its real life. That why i called my show reelistic outdoors. I loved it. Nice work. Im going to have to recruit you..I hope you gps marked that rod. I was thinking the same thing as Ian , i didnt think lakers came that small.
Im after carp cat fish and bass this weekend and back to the lakers with the new sled next.

Ya as for thew fumbling of that little trout..... it wasnt hurt, it swam off fine, all fish were released. I know a guy who is a diver and he said he was looking for an excuse to do some under ice winter diving, so it looks like he will bring a buddie and have a look around for my rod, I'm not too opttimistic though, I already ordered 2 new ones, a medium weight and a heavy weight. Good luck on the ice dude
