I went out today, just to play again with my camera, and I saw a lot of fish, I had my little Marmish rod, and I landed this little laker. Sorry for the windy audio $:-\$ but it was still fun, after I released this fish a HUGE laker came in and mouthed my little Marmish Jig, I couldent believe it, it was massive, easilly over 10 pounds and somewhere between 25-30 inches, I did not see any movent on the tip of my Marmish, and I would not know he was there if I didnt see him on the screen, I actually pulled the jig away from this fish, because I knew my 2 lb test line would have no chance

Just to see him sniffing my tiny jig was very cool

10 pound fish on 2 pound test? hmmmm- lil light- u mite have to upgrade to 4 pound test then dropper extra deep for the 20 pounders

went out this afternoon, to "test the waters" before the season opened, and a few Burb was landed, 1 of them was a decent 28 incher, then I got this one, and decided to take a few pics of it, for good luck, the cards are released now, so its time to go out again.

Yummm tasted just about ripe, yes I kiss Ise de Gurl with that mouth......

Soooo, Rainbow Sniper wanted me to bring him to one of mine and Burbot Busters secret Burb holes, so tonight we loaded up the sled and off we went, I got a whitefish right off the bat, then as it turned dark, Rainbow Sniper showed me he has what it takes, too bad all fish were small, it was a fun night anyways

He represented the Cluculz Squad very well.

Well.....Ian's post inspired me, so I decided this morning that I was going to try a new secret lake that I had a hot tip on.

So I packed up the truck and I was off early. The temps were unseasonably warm, which made the roads wet and slushy, had to stop twice to clean my headlights. $:-\$

This lake was new to me so my goal was to try to cover water, it was a chore as my power auger is broke and I had a lot of hand-augering to do,

anyways, the following is a photo interpretation of how my day went, I think every pic is a new fish....(except the big fish...... there is 2 pics of him)

I only kept 1 fish, the one that I am going to enter in the derby

it came in at 4 pounds even

The only bad thing about the day was I blew the BUTT out of my spanky icefishing suit

keep the fat jokes to yourselves !!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Folks, I had to live up to my name and try to re-claim my title from 2010,

I noticed my Dad got some PK LURES for Christmas, so I decided to sneak one out of his tackle box and give it a try tonight, the PK glow spoon did the trick as you can see in the 3rd picture.
