Water Wolf:
Hi everyone,

Water Wolf here, glad to be a part of the IceShanty group. I have already learned new ideas by reading the posts, hope to try some of them out this season.
I also hope everyone is having a great ice fishing season. :)

I would like to know if anyone has heard of Slip-Jigs before? I was also wondering if anyone knew where I could find them in Canada? I first heard about them when I was watching the Fishing Alberta t.v. series. I tried to contact Fishing Alberta but the On-line Store was not working and no e-mail response. Any information on slip-jigs is appreciated.
Be safe and have fun!   ;)

Welcome Water Wolf!!!!

What is a slip jig?

friendly fishing:
The slip jig is one the four most common Irish Step dances LMAO ;D ;D

ok to be serious this is the definition I have

Slip Jig Weight

This lure is basically a sliding worm weight with a tying collar to add a skirt or reel rubber. Finish the Slip Jig like a bass jig and fish it Texas style with a plastic worm. This lure is great for heavy cover and has more fish appeal than a standard Texas rig.
