Hay folks we Just finished the first leg of the Perch Assault Series on Smith Lake and Pete's Tackle Pro staff Prevailed with 5 places in the top 10.
1st Place was Pete's Tackle Pro staff Russ Gildrich and his Partner Jeff Absolonson with a 10 fish Perch limit of 11.41# and a big Perch of 1.53#, there weapon of choice where the Sasse Stingers & Slab Slayer.

4th Place was Pete's Tackle Pro staff Alex Pierson and his dad Shane Pierson with a 10 fish Perch limit of 9.39# and a big Perch of 1.31#, there weapon of choice was the Slab Slayer.

5th place was Pete's Tackle newest Pro staff Anna McComb and her husband Matt McComb with a 10 Perch limit of 9.30#and a big Perch of 1.09# Weapon of choice was the Lead Maggot.

8th Place was Pete's Tackle Pro staff Mark Weed and Pro staff Jeff Fields with a 10 perch limit of 7.17#and a big Perch of 1.30#
weapon of choice was the Sasse Stinger.

10th Place was Pete's Tackle Pro staff Baylee Sorensen and Thane Melton with a 6 Perch of 5.71# and a big Perch of 1.23# weapon of choice Lead Maggot.

Hay folks Pete here I have some new product that will be on the Pete Tackle Shop very soon hopefully end of this week. I have new jigs and Ice rods that are custom made for Pete's Tackle my Pro Staff loved them! The rods are built on an MHX blanks I will havre 16 that range from 26" to 36".

There here New Sasse Stingers colors are up Olive, Rusty Brown and Iron sides gun metal gray. There is a new color in the 5mm Tungsten Assortment olive and brown Deadly. I'm so flippen excited about these colors I can't stand myself. Pete's Tackle has also a new assortment pack priced to sell $3.99 that's less than a dollar a jig

you can't buy them in a store that cheap.

Salmo406, Pete makes a quick strike rig with red hooks, they work amazing! as for jigging, I would lean towards some of his 3" crappie candy piggy backed (one on top of the other) hooked on a 3/8 oz. jig head. I have caught a lot of different species using crappie candy! P.S. I love blue!!!
