I haven’t fished there for I’d say 45 years used to be good crappie bluegill lake wasn’t heavily fished

Fished this lake 45 years ago maybe longer boat ramp used to be on the road coming in was a bait shop across from ramp. Things sure changed wasn’t a beach then the fishing was great nice gills out of pads nice crappie night bite. Nice bass but wasn’t interested in them.I’d be curious if the quality fish are still there I know a lot can change in that many years good or bad

I talked to a local that owned property on the lake last time out and he claims their are really nice bass and crappie. They just roam is what I gathered from him. I just started trying it this year and caught some respectable largemouth and gills so I have to take his word for it! No crappie as of yet though!

try the night bite with a light.  set up off the deep edge of weeds.  that is the easiest way to test the crappie population in a lake. imo
real fishermen don't ask "where you catch those"
