I emailed them. Here is what I asked:

What is the weight of the two different jigs in this mold?
What size hooks would i need?
What is the size of the jigs in MM.

There answer was:
The mold has 5 cavities with a weight of 0.44g and 5 cavities with a weight of 0.88g
For Pelkie Ice JIg L412 mold use hooks # 10-12, 0.6mm thick.
Regards

So it sounds like the cavities are larger to to accommodate for lead.

Well…I broke down and ordered one. Just in case do it doesn’t come out with one….comes Nov. 24. Figured with shipping time I better get it comming

I thought it was illegal for a plumber to break into leaded pipes, not true?

My brother-in-law owns a plumbing company in Iowa.
He's got a few hundred pounds of lead stashed away.
I believe it's from removal of these old lead soldered pipes when they get replaced with new modern plumbing.

I have a couple of jigging rap molds from a different maker.
And what's nice is the other maker included wire forms and the plastic tails for them.
In fact I have two different size plastic tails and my molds make two different size jigging raps.
Mine are CNC cut in the USA.

I don’t think the drain pipes were lead….I think they were cast and lead was used to seal the cast drain pipes together where they meet.

Not really....I can make 35 for that price in 5min.

Then I would save the time wasted going to Walmart.....what's my time worth? $100? $1,000? So.....I'd be like $998.00 ahead. Also, I woudn't be wasting time that I could be fishing.

Why so defensive? Make em’, or buy em’…it’s all a personal choice! Pros and cons on both sides as I see it.
Now let’s go fishin’.

That is true as I have done lots of removal over the years
I knew that, but lots of special permits or authorizations are needed because of hazardous waste aren’t they?

over the years they have  tightened up on hazardous waste
1 of my last jobs I shut down a project do to Mercury at Ithaca college and I caught hell , their own people asked me if knew what I had found and if I had the education to make that determination
Project was down for almost a month
In the field isn’t always the same as classroom instruction at least from my experience of 35 years and I’ve been retired now 7 years
Far as leaded pipe I never bothered removing it , just loaded it out , inspectors
 Never made a fuss ,

Well my new marmooska mold came in.
But I think I'll start a new thread on that one.
So look for that in the jig making section if you're interested in this mold.
