One word...YES!

Sunnies and punkin seeds are fantastic to eat. I like to take the time to fillet them out with no bones, batter and fry!!! There are few fish that taste better IMHO. Even if they are not huge, they eat like potato chips when prepared this way.

really, huh?  better than yellow perch battered in flour and fried?  filleting is the only way id eat it.  but thanks for the help.  i caught a bucket full and kept em, just making sure they are good before i cut them open.

well lets hope you like them to get a pale full and not know. I have been told that the meat is sweeter then perch. I dont know I have never tried it. Fun to catch the kids love them put up a good fight for them but i could never see the point of eating them looks like very little meat on them. Well have fun cleaning a pale full and let me know what you think of them will ya. Maybe Ill try it this year. Thanks.....jim s

They are very good.  My bro and I used to filet and fry 'em up.  Takes a good mess to make a meal, but they're tasty.
