Pounding away...
« on: Jan 07, 2011, 07:19 AM »
Still hammering them on the coves. The Darters, Frostees and Rattli'n Flyers have been working great. I don't put anything at all on the Darters, the Frostees have been tipped with spikes or mousies and the Flyers have been tipped with small shiners. Been having a ball!

Very nice, Blaine...can we expect that kind of action at Wethersfield Cove next weekend?  And how about a little demo on the 'Blaine Lip Flip' technique of returning fish into the hole?

There should be some great jigging! The lip flip takes years of practice... I'll show you a couple of trick next weekend ;)

That's the Quick Tip series from Frabill... One of the best rods I've used for panfish. Very sensitive tip, and as the name implies, it goes to the back bone quick.

Thank you very much! Do you have a special spring bober on or is that how the rod comes? I really like the the tip of that rod, I Can actually see the bites in the video!
