Sweet! Tell me when they are ripping them out so I can time the river. It should be 1.5 to 2.5 weeks for them to get to Albany, weather permitting.
Maybe I can talk the wife into a trip to the big apple with my daughter!

30 perch? That's a nice haul. It may be a long way to go but at least I'm getting some. Catch more in one day on Otisco than the whole season on the point. Good size ones too. I just may have one more trip up there left in me.

Good to hear ! With the way the forecast is looking this week probably be open by the end of the week. but after that it's looking like some polar air will be setting in maybe we'll be out by the end of the month if we get lucky!

Can't wait to try out a few new spots up there that I marked with the SI sonar :) .  Hope it freezes again quick, I can't believe that there was 4" of ice up there Friday and now it is all gone.  Must of had a lot of rain Sunday.

Heard that Topline doesn't have bait? Is he still in business and just out of bait, or closed?

Last couple times I went by Top Line it was all dark and the sign by road was gone. Looks like it's closed. Bait can be gotten at Whitney Point Preppers located on Main Street.

He's just not selling minnows now. He's still doing custom jigs.

yeah...definitly another meet/ greet and fish with the IS local crew.  Let me know what I can do to help out Sporty.  I can spread the word and get some guys to join the fun.  What do you think...2nd week of February?

Why not do it the scheduled day for the Crappie Derby? The 13th? That way either day we have some kind of derby.

Looks like a nice week of freezing weather for this week! Time to dust the gear off and get ready to head out next weekend! Hopefully start off as good as last year.
