I'm headed out to silver lake in the morning. I'm coming from the buffalo area, any suggestions on a place to pick up bait?

on 39 there is a place that isa gas station/bait shop... its pretty good in there its called achermans. i believe its a sunoco...comming from  buffalo area it will be on your left. i want to say it is around perry... but i know for sure it is past bliss. we will see you out there tom

perch killer , your wrong ,silver lake is a great blue gill and perch lake if you no how to fish it ,something tells me you do not know how to fish IT   

i agree with you silver can be a very hot lake at times ,ya just have to know how to fish her

Have not seen many guys with tip-ups lately.  A few, but mostly on weekends.  Seen a lot of pike in the holes, so they are wandering around.  Tons of natural forage, with both the dink gills and dink perch.

Tough lake for me to fish it is like fishing in A bath tube after fishing bigger water.I know there is nice fish to be had there.
