I was fishing lake George before the ice went away and had a blast. I was fishing near Fred Rose Park. I didn't catch a ton of keepers but I did catch a ton of fish and it was a lot of fun. If you plan on making it out there try to fish in 4-5 foot deep water near submerged trees with bright jigs. This would be a great place to take a kid with a short attention span.
