1st trip Success!
« on: Jan 03, 2015, 03:48 PM »
First trip of the year was a success, started out looking like we were gonna get skunked on the smelt but they really picked up an hour after dark. 67 was the total tally and we left em biting!

Andy came by with his vexilar and it really lit up! also helped with catching as the fish were suspended higher than I'm used to
Come on get on the ice fish!!

Very nice job on getting the smelt. Now I know you probably didn't get these at Bomo. It was probably a little reservoir in the central part of the state. Am I correct.  Anyways I am foaming at the mouth for bomo to freeze over so I can do some smelt fishing
I do all types of fishing; but I am Die hard Ice angler.
I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.
