WhiteGameHunter - should be fine for the 1st. I was at Worthley Pond in Peru for a Christmas event this past weekend and they had 4-5 inches out front of their house. There were however still some wet spots showing. Bryant Pond is a great opening day spot. Good luck and be safe.

Norway lake appears to be frozen up solid with no real wet spots to speak of. However i cant say that i have dared to go out and drill my first hole yet. I am going to go drill some next week though and i will post again and keep you informed. I work with a guy that ice fishes Bryant Pond and does very well. I will ask him if he knows. he lives right up near there too.
