How have the temps been up North?

my plan on being out on the ice for thnxgiving is looking grim!  any good news from the North? ???

 how far north are there ponds open as soon as ice forms?

beaver dams just skimmed over up here about 3 days ago. ive seen the ponds with 4in of ice by thanksgiving weekend. although i dont know about this year. it could change pretty quick though. the furthest north class A ponds are around houlton, oakfield areas. if you guys come up and want a fishing partner, let me know and ill meet you at whatever pond your going to. ive been waiting to try some ponds in that area also. ill keep you posted on the ice conditions.

28 and snowing in frenchville was just up there boy was it cold  3 weeks ago as  well went up to visit the wifes parents and for harvest season i think i`m sick of spuds .....

2in!! im used to going out only if its over a foot! tell you what cap. you go first and ill follow. my luck ill fall through anyway! lol! hey nitro you aint picked taters' till' theres a foot of snow on top of potatoes and dirt comin' up on the conveyers on the harvester!  let the fun begin!!
