Decided when answering unknown numbers to use the Ice Fishing Hotline bit. Got a call this morning from an unknown number and confused them like you wouldn't believe. conversation went like this:

ME-     Ice Fishing Hotline, how can we help you?

Them- Really?        Funny!!

Me-     Yes

Them- where is everybody?

Me-     Ice fishing

Them- There is ice in Ohio?

Me-     No, everyone went to Wisconsin, there is ice there.

Them- I guess I will call back later.

Me-     Thanks for calling. Have a nice day.

BLASPHEMY........A Martini is (chilled) gin and you wave the cork off the bottle of Vermouth over the glass and salute in the general direction of Italy (where Vermouth is made).......anything else is NOT a Martini sir....

As you wish but ice is still involved unless you're keeping the gin in the freezer. Classic, original martini (marguerite with Plymouth gin) is 2:1, stirred and strained. Coincidentally I've got a glass of Plymouth in front of me right now, about 4 - 5 drops of Martini Rossi and some ice. Blasphemy? If you say so but I'm enjoyin' it.
