I was going to buy an 8" Lazer then but then I stumbled across these. It's a curved blade and they claim it's interchangeable with Lazer blades, and has a folding offset Nils style handle. It was on sale and I got it to my door for $63 so I figured why not. My only real complaint is the area where the flighting and the cutting head are welded together doesn't have quite the fit and finish of the Lazer. I've had it out a few times now and it seems to cut just as fast as my Lazer. I haven't used the handle but it actually looks really nice. I feel well bought, and it's orange so it matches the Ridgid. They have a synthetic as well which was on sale for around $90 but sold out in 8"or I would have got it.
