What do you cook on the ice?? Whats ur go 2 recipe?

Last winter we did some prime rib chili, italian wedding soup from scratch, some chili dogs, smoked pork shoulder w apple juice steam, and of course some breakfast, all while on the ice

WOW, you go to the extreme.  We usually just heat up a can of chowder and/or some baked goods.

yea man! we call my shanty the kitchen haha. always food smell comin out of it and steam from fresh coffee. my secret weapon this year issome cajun shrimp alfredo ove linguini lol

Last time I cooked up on the Ice -(Ravioli's) my father in law was watching my jigging pole and "WHAM"  a 14 inch that's right a 14 inch PERCH hit the pole and he caught it!  Now mind you I have perch fished a lot and I have never caught one close to 14 inches!  I was pi--ed....  So NOW I DO NOT COOK ON THE ICE..

If no one else wants to do the cooking I am bringing pb and J....

2day we dragged out the charcoal grill did nome breakfast then some chili, whitehots, italian sausage on 3 inches of bad ice. 4 pike 2day 2 best were 6 lbs and 12 lbs

I have always made burgers and brats. The wife wanted to try boneless chicken breasts. She cooked them the night before by cooking in a frying pan with water, then on Saturday I put them on the grill and once they were starting to get warm I basted them with Jim Beam BBQ sauce. When they were done put them in a hamburger bun. Wow was that ever tasty and even stayed warm when the flag went up until I got back.
