Braddocks Bay, Cranberry Pond, Conesus lake
« on: Dec 08, 2005, 01:15 PM »
I checked the ice on Braddocks at 1 pm this afternoon.  There is about 2- 2 1/2 inches of ice.  The only problem is the water looks a little murky.  I then drove over to Cranberry Pond.  The ice is about the same thickness.  The water looks clear.  Not long now.  I called my buddy who lives on Long Point on Conesus lake.  He stated that the lake did not freeze over night.  I don't know about the North or South ends.   I will try to get out on Braddocks this weekend if everything locks up a little more.  I may try night fishing Cranberry Pond for walleyes one night this weekend.  I will get more condition reports as soon as possible.
