Scouting mission fizzle
« on: Dec 15, 2009, 03:37 PM »
Got out scouting today in the Lanark Highlands.  We checked some bigger bodies of water and found less ice than anticipated.  We ended up fishing one lake but between the 1.75" ice and less than stellar action we jetted after an hour.  Hoping to get up Calabogie way later in the week.

If you guys are doing any trout trips or similar in January, I'd love to tag along. I am off 1-23rd.  Have snowshoes, for the long walks as well. :)

I know of a small lake I've been dying to scout that apparently holds some specks.. assuming the sunfire gets me there. lol

If my wife finds out I'm going for long walks with blonds Snag, my goose is cooked.  ;D

I'm good for some scouting early January, weekdays.

Don
