Stevens pond in Manch had a little skim ice in the corner this morning!! It's coming!

;D hopefully this weeks cold temps drive the water temps down to where we can start forming!!

Weather man said low of 16F on Wed night!! That should get things started!
Hoping to get a trip in up north in a few weeks.

??? ::) Forecast for Littleton shows 6 days of well below freezing providing
66 Freezing Degree Days!! At 15 FDD per inch of ice than I should have over 4 inches of ice on small ponds by next Monday! :o Why is it that I don't believe that??
But I will send in my order for wax worms and maggots soon

Oh the talk of early ice seems so exciting but let’s also hope it doesn’t follow with “oh let’s try this out” seems we always have to focus on the importance of safety!! So please guys let’s be safe

  Perry, usually fish for perch and crappie but wax worms and maggots have taken trout and bass. They make all lures taste better to fish.
