We are actually doing research and design testing. We've been seeing "more of the same" for years and we would like to offer something not only different but better.

I'm sorry not at this time. We are still trying to build our name in North America and we have been at a few of the large ice shows already. We plan on being at a few ice tournaments as well.
There are several videos on YouTube that show our shelters pretty clearly.

Thank you for the question,

We are working on distributors in all North America including Canada. With this unseasonably warm weather it seems everyone is more hesitant at this point.
We are working on distributors, trying to attend ice fishing trade shows and some local tournaments as well. As I said there are videos on YouTube that should give you a good look at our product. Hopefully by next season we will have more distributors.

Thank you again,

On your website is says the 4T is just under 42 lbs. Does that include the floor or is it hair the shack? I see the floor is just over 8lbs.

The 4T is a little over 41 lbs. The floor for the 4T is a little over 12 lbs.  So the shelter and floor combined is roughly 53 lbs.

I hope this clarified things,

Do these shelters do well for sight fishing? I ask because it looks like they let in a good amount of light.
I'm considering buying the 4t. Is shipping paid for if I'm not satisfied and decide to return it?
How roomy is the 4t compared to the otter xth lodge?

Thanks for taking the time to answer questions.

Vince I'll do my best to answer your questions.

Sight fishing :
Our shelters were designed to allow more light inside. With the abundance of ice fisherman using flashers and electronics we went with the lighter color for easier viewing inside the shelter.
Can you sight fish – yes it's possible. Is it easier with it being darker inside – yes it is.

Return shipping :
We give a 30 day return policy if the shelter is unused and in the original box. We are shipping it to you for free. If you decide to return it you would pay the return shipping.

Roomy :
I do not have the competitors shelter but I can give you some facts. According to their website they measure from hub to hub. We measure actual floor space. So if theirs state 103 inches you have to take into account the amount on each side you lose in actual floor space. If the hub/poles flex out 6" you will lose 1' of total floor space - 6" on each side.  So their floor space would be 91 inches. I hope this makes sense to you. Our 4T is 91" x 91" x 76".

Thanks for considering Polar Bird,

We were just informed that the promotion (the prices that are currently listed on our website) are going up tomorrow. I do not know by how much or if shipping will still be free.

Thanks,

Polar Bird- very nice huts but 2 things, you really need to look into the flipover style shelters and having an option available for blackout walls would be great as its very popular here in the States.Lots of fishermen fish shallow water and sight fish for panfish. The first shelters to sell out at Cabelas and Gander Mountain are the flipovers. Just my thoughts.

Just for clarity please,  does that negate our coupons good until 1-17-2016 ?

Thank you Pete we are taking everyone's thoughts seriously. As stated previously we have a flip over in the works for next season.
We did not want to release anything that was not fully tested. Also we wanted to hear feedback from the consumer as to what they wanted and try to give it to them.

Thank you,

The prices are due to change tomorrow. If the prices are the current promotion then it's 10% off the current promotion. If the new prices are in effect then it's 10% off the new price.

Thanks Polar Bird Team, for that response.

It appears you are required to follow orders, be they good PR or otherwise.

I will keep judgement to myself and say not another word ~         ;)2

We have had the sale promotion up for over a month. We announced previously the prices weren't going to stay at that price forever. There's still the free floor and free shipping. We also didn't have a drastic price change.

Thanks,

looking for a floor patch kit.  I asked this ? in the sponsor shanty  area of this site  and should have done it here, so...
wondering if you can make , or have a kit to seal over the holes you do not use,   consist of a round pce of foam the size of the cutout  and 2 pcs of the floor mat'l  slightly larger than the cutout.  I have a 4 T that I am setting up for 2 users,   the corner holes do not work for me, so I added my own and would like to cover the unused ones.   Thank you

BTW  nice design, once the floor is in place, the hub is very stable,  used mine in heavy wind yesterday on glare ice. Could not have gotten away with my old hub,  there was no snow for banking,  would have been a real P I T A   ;) ,  the floor seals up the tent
